Bob Morris retired in 2013 after a 35-year career with one of the nation’s largest telecommunications companies. A longtime resident of Folsom, California, he often drove past the prison, never imagining that God would one day call him inside its gates. In 2012, before retirement, Bob entered Folsom Prison with Chaplain Bill Rogowski. What began as a fearful step turned into a life-changing calling as he discovered warmth, faith, and brotherhood among men he once dismissed.
Since then, Bob has devoted his life to prison ministry. He founded Bibles 4 Change in 2011, distributing quality study Bibles across California and beyond. The ministry later developed programs such as the Christian Anger Management Project (CAMP), a 30-week course addressing deep-rooted anger, and Written in Red, a year-long study of the four gospels, now active in prisons across California and Texas.
Bob also serves with Paid in Full California, part of a nationwide movement bringing seminary education into prisons. Classes began at Mule Creek State Prison in 2024, and plans are underway for expansion.
Through every step, Bob remains grateful for the opportunity to serve, convinced that God’s grace can transform lives both inside and outside prison walls.
